It’s way too early to know who the conference champions will be during the 2025-2026 Division II basketball season but that won’t keep us from trying to guess! We’re back with year three of our conference champions draft contest with the usual suspects of Karl Barkley, Bob Quillman and Ryan Whitnable joining us to go through eight rounds of picks.
Each conference can only be picked once so once someone makes their pick of a team to be a conference champ, that conference is off the board. Five contestants making eight picks each means 40 of the 42 conferences will factor into the picks while two will be left on the board. Also going without a pick will be the Coast-To-Coast Conference because they do not have official conference regular season play.
We follow up the draft with some talk about our thoughts on the overall landscape informed by our draft prep and other relevant topics as we look forward to another great season.
