We are pleased to be joined by Calvin head men’s basketball coach Bill Sall in advance of the 2023-24 Division III basketball season. We get Bill’s thoughts on how the D3 game has changed since his playing days at Calvin, the transition from coaching at the Division II level and the impacts of the extra COVID year of eligibility and the early practice period.

Calvin returns most of their production from last year’s team so we talk about some of those returning players and the overall dynamics of starting a new year with so many familiar faces. We also talk about the challenging schedule Calvin will play this season and the importance of playing strong non-conference games in general.
