D3 Datacast

Throughout the offseason we took on a project to complete a 500+ Division III basketball trading card set from the 2022-2023 season. Each card was distributed in to a virtual pack with each pack containing 12 cards. Ten cards were from our team base set while the other two cards in each pack were made up of insert cards from one of our special minisets.

Cards were unveiled one by one, pack by pack over the course of nine offseason episodes of the D3 Datacast. Those shows can be found compiled into a handy playlist on YouTube. Now that the series is over, we also wanted to make the complete card collection available to browse via photo gallery.

Team Base Cards – The base set cards are the bread and butter of any collectible trading card pack and our team set is no different. Each and every team that competed in the 2022-2023 Division III men’s basketball season is represented.

Random Twitter People – There is a great community around Division III basketball and one of the places that plays out is on Twitter. This special insert miniset collection pays homage to a small part of the cast of characters that make things interesting on the social media platform.

D-Three Threads – The D-Three Threads insert set is a made up of special relic cards celebrating the looks and fashions of the Division III basketball scene.

Content Kings – It has never been a better time to be a fan of Division III basketball thanks to widespread access to a number of high quality broadcasts as well as other creators brining content to fans outside of games. The Content Kings insert set recognizes some of the people doing great works in this space.

Fierce Foes – Rivalries make all sports just a little more fun and that is certainly true in Division III basketball. The D3 scene is fortunate to have a number of great rivalries, some of which we were able to highlight in our Fierce Foes insert set.

2023 National Committee – We got a great tournament to conclude the 2022-2023 Division III basketball season and that was in large part due to the great work of the Division III Men’s Basketball Committee. This insert set honors all ten members of the National Committee.

Dream Destinations – It doesn’t get much better than a Division III basketball road trip. The Dream Destinations miniset highlight some of the best events and locations a fan could have traveled to during the 2022-2023 season.

Major Moments – It’s the big moments that make a season memorable. In the Major Moments set we take a look back at some of these headline moments that made the 2022-2023 Division III basketball season special, as well as celebrating some milestone anniversaries of champions past.

Unsung Heroes – This insert set pays homage to a group of people who don’t always get the recognition they deserve. There are so many more who fit this description but we were happy to be able to honor a few.
