2024-2025 D3 Dunks Fan Vote

We have been hard at work putting together a Top 10 D3 Dunks video for the 2024-2025 season but it turns out the hard work has been, well, hard. While some big dunks from some big dunkers have been easy inclusions in the Top 10, the margins at that Top 10 cut line are miniscule, making the decisions especially difficult.

Rather than making the difficult decisions ourselves, what better way to celebrate so many of the great dunks we saw during this Division III basketball season than to put the final two spots up for grabs in a fan vote? That’s right, while eight spots have been claimed, the last two spots in this season’s Top 10 video will be determined by the #d3hoops community.

We have put together a special playlist of ten #d3dunks up for consideration for those final two spots with each “thumbs up” reaction on the YouTube Short being considered a vote. At the end of the voting period, the two with the highest number of thumbs ups will take spots nine and ten in the final Top 10 video.

Please note that clicking the “thumbs down” button on any video will not act as a vote against as winners will not be determined based on the difference between up and down reactions.

Go check out all ten #d3dunks in the final vote and give any or all of them vote by clicking that 👍 button on the YouTube video! Voting will run through Sunday, May 11 at 11:59 pm ET.

The Contenders
Porter Kretschman was in a #d3dunks mood in an Olivet win over Hope, with this one his best of the night: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Y1WE9TvKwWc

Hakim Williams is a powerful guard and that was on full display as he turned the corner for this throwdown for Illinois Wesleyan: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/lUghsiSGkIE

This highlight reel dunk by Buzz Ritzel helped seal a Midwest Conference win for Illinois College: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/zvQUyQsZPoo

UMass Dartmouth made the SportsCenter Top 10 thanks to this alley-oop from Nic Boyd to Cam Danbury: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/OEQRAU8J2fc

Max DePina got the steal and took it all the way to the rack and dropped an absolute hammer jam for Mount Saint Vincent: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/tUufY_3e6Zc

Covenant College didn’t get what they wanted out of their press with Berry’s Braxton Benham going to the basket with authority and putting the defender on a poster: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/RI39e0_POM0

Logan Jagodzinski had all kinds of time to get creative so he threw down this 360 dunk for Rochester: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/oMnTVnGPXio

The Eastern Eagles got a one-handed slam for the highlight reel with Daron Sherman‘s huge second half dunk at Widener: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/G_whOTibTMc

Spoiler alert: Illinois Wesleyan’s Nick Roper already has a spot in the final #d3dunks Top 10 but this reverse jam is also worthy of consideration for a second spot: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/YJAL62sLDj8

The defense never stopped the ball so LeTourneau’s Caedmon Liebengood took it all the way to the hole and put it down with one hand: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/h7Rp3pjSQko
