We are declaring the Division III basketball offseason over and are moving into season mode! That means it is time to fire up the D3 Datacast computer for another season of fun. Naturally, we’re starting our lead up to the 2023-2024 season with a review of the preseason efficiency ratings.
In this episode we go through a review of what a preseason rating is, what they mean and what they don’t mean. We then take a look at the preseason top 40 and some big movers from where the computer rankings stood at the end of last season. We wrap things up by making some picks of teams we believe will outperform or underperform their preseason ranking.
